Getting Started

We've made it easy for you to try Qluent. Every new user gets access to two demo projects with pre-configured data. To get started:

  1. Register at app.qluent.com/create-account.
  2. Verify your account if needed and log in at app.qluent.com/login.

Once you're logged in, you can either:

For simplicity, let's start with a demo. We'll use the E-Commerce (demo dataset) below, but the instructions apply to all projects.

The dataset used is the Brazilian E-Commerce Public Dataset by Olist, published on Kaggle.

Instructions

Open a demo project

Open the E-Commerce (demo dataset) project.

Explore the sidebar

The sidebar on the left contains:

  • Project name and description
  • Links to share and delete projects
    • To add users to the project, go to the "Share" section and add the email address.
    • The user will receive an invitation to register with Qluent and join the project.
  • Threads
    • Threads (private or shared) store a history of questions and answers.
    • The "General" thread is automatically created and shared by default.
  • Tables and Columns
    • These are the data elements you can ask questions about.

Interact with the main area

The main area displays the question-and-answer history for a given thread.

  • Type a question into the input box, or start with one of the suggested questions.
  • Qluent will respond with:
    • A table (rows and columns)
    • A visualization (if relevant), such as a bar chart, pie chart, or graph.

Explore the response

Click the arrow beside the question to reveal more details:

  • View Code: Displays the generated SQL query.
  • View Assumptions: Lists the assumptions AI used when generating the query.
  • View Explanation: Explains the SQL query.

Refine your interaction

  • Rephrase the Question: Clarify and ask again if needed.
  • Update and Retry SQL Code: For advanced users familiar with the data.
  • Share Insights: Share the Q&A with other users using the "Share" button.
