Google Analytics 4
Connect Google Analytics to Qluent using a connection. Upon saving each new report, Qluent fetches 14 months of historical data and on subsequent days it will extract the previous 7 days.
Currently only daily reports/daily aggregation is supported and every report requires at least the "date" dimension.
For a more powerful experience consider setting up BigQuery Links. Doing so will allow you to connect Qluent to BigQuery and in turn allow asking questions about raw events captured by Google Analytics. You cannot export historical data with BigQuery Links therefore it's best to setup as soon as possible to begin gathering data.

Recommendations
- Not all dimensions and metrics are compatible
- Use the Google Analytics Query Explorer to test your dimensions and metrics before creating a report.
- Whilst it's possible to use all 9 dimensions and 10 metrics it can lead to unexpected report numbers due to metrics data being split into too many dimensions (aka buckets)
- Utilising many dimensions and metrics will yield a large dataset and take much longer too extract
- Use smaller more focused reports comprising of fewer dimensions and metrics when possible
Discrepancies
- Due to the way data is approximated in Google Analytics, expect differences between it and reports in Qluent that use the Google Analytics Report API behind the scenes
- Selecting too many dimensions and metrics can lead to metrics data being split or duplicated
- It can take time before data is gathered by Google Analytics therefore each day, the previous 7 days of data are extracted and replaced in Qluent
- Segments are not supported by the Google Analytics Report API therefore it's not feasible to compare reports with segments to data in Qluent
How it works
Qluent will fetch all data from Google Analytics for the last 14 months. On subsequent days, Qluent will fetch the previous 7 days of data to factor in any changes to the data.
